Double Lined Minority Announce Co-Headline Tour + New Single

A lot can happen in a year for Double Lined Minority– the release of two EPs, 5 headline tours, a support to US rockers Motion City Soundtrack and Real Friends, UK pop-punkers As It Is, and there are no signs of slowing down for the Gold Coast four-piece with the announcement of a new single and a co-headline tour with Inventions and Stansbury. The latest single titled ‘The Girl Who Couldn’t Love’ is a love song about the lack there of and will be released on May 20 2016.

“‘The Girl Who Couldn’t Love’ is definitely our most interesting track. We have had a lot more time in the studio to experiment with new and different ideas yet still find something familiar in the end,” says Eddie. “Oddly enough, it was flamenco guitar that inspired the new song. You can hear a lot of passion within that genre and I really wanted to take that element and somehow embed it into one of our own”.

Since their formation in 2009, Double Lined Minority – aka Eddie Salazar (Vocals/Guitar), Cameron Griffiths (Vocals/Guitar), Jack Merrman (Drums) and Blair Klein (Bass) – have built a very distinctive pop punk reputation and are not one to shy away from showcasing who they really are whilst maintaining a positive, fun and energetic image. Quite simply, it’s what has earnt the band a loyal and ever-growing fan base.
